Edmonton, Alberta
About
Helix Home Solutions is a locally owned HVAC and electrical contractor serving Edmonton and the surrounding area, including St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, Beaumont, and Leduc.
Helix was founded by two tradespeople who spent years inside the city's largest HVAC companies and saw the same problems over and over: salespeople quoting jobs they would never install, details lost between sales and crews, customers pressured to replace equipment that could have been repaired, and callbacks from undertrained installers. Helix was built to close that gap.
At Helix, the ticketed journeyman who quotes your job is the same person who pulls the permit, does the work, and answers for the result. There are no dedicated salespeople, no rotating crews, no fake urgency, and no shortcuts. Every job is done by the book and to Alberta code.
On the HVAC side, Helix installs and repairs furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps and ductless mini splits, garage heaters, and tank and tankless water heaters, along with humidifiers, filter upgrades, and indoor air quality improvements. On the electrical side, Helix handles panel upgrades, circuit additions, EV charger installation, hot tub and sauna wiring, smart home wiring, GFCI and outdoor outlets, and electrical inspections.
Whether it is a furnace failing at minus 30 or a family that is done sweating through another summer, Helix shows up with an honest assessment, a fair quote, and quality work from someone who puts his name on it. Edmonton based, Albertan owned, and grown by word of mouth.

Helix repairs furnaces when repair makes sense and replaces them when it does not, with the same ticketed journeyman quoting, installing, and standing behind the work so your home stays warm through an Edmonton winter.
Air conditioning installation and repair
Helix installs and repairs central air conditioning sized correctly for your home, so you get reliable cooling through the hottest Edmonton summer without paying for more unit than you need.

Helix installs cold climate heat pumps and ductless mini splits that heat and cool from one system, a practical option for homes, additions, and condos where ductwork is limited or missing.

Helix installs and repairs both tank and tankless water heaters with correct gas supply and venting, so you get consistent hot water and a unit that passes inspection.
Humidifiers, filter racks, and indoor air quality
